Location is always key when traveling so if you’re staying in Baguio, it will be most convenient to stay near famous tourist spots and eat-out places so you don’t have to drive far or take a cab to get to where you need to be. Burnham Park and Session Road (where the famous Baguio Night Market is) are the most iconic spots in Baguio and where most dining establishments are so I highly recommend this area as a home base when you visit.

There are 4 hotel hotspots in this area:

  1. Lower Session Road/Night Market zone
  2. Upper Session Road/SM zone
  3. Victory Liner/Bus Station zone
  4. Kisad Road/Burnham Park zone

You just have to choose depending on which part you’d like to be near to.

Lower Session Road/Night Market Zone

Session Road was the place-to-be during the 70s, 80s, and 90s, so if you’ve noticed, this area in Baguio is where most of the old hotels are. It’s also where fastfoods are, such as Chowking, KFC, Mcdonald’s, and Jollibee, so if you’re on a tight budget, this will be the best place for you. There’s also a 7-Eleven along Session Road for your quick fixes. If you’re also planning to visit during the Panagbenga Festival, the parade passes through Session Road, and you have a higher chance of getting an excellent front seat.
