A Taste of Heritage

Established many years ago, Leslie’s Bulalo Restaurant started as a humble eatery, renowned for serving traditional bulalo—a hearty bone marrow soup made with tender beef shanks and veggies. The founders, Leslie and his family, come from a long line of culinary artisans, and they are dedicated to preserving Filipino culture through their dishes.

The Art of Bulalo

The highlight of Leslie’s Bulalo Restaurant is, of course, their namesake dish—the mouthwatering bulalo. Bulalo is a traditional Filipino dish made with stewed beef bone marrow and vegetables in a flavorful broth.

Cooked to perfection through slow simmering, the broth is bursting with flavor. Broth is almost too salty for me, to be honest, but I guess it depends on individual preference. But I really love how the super tender beef and melt-in-your-mouth marrow create a delightful combination, while fresh vegetables add a touch of freshness. Served with steaming white rice and a variety of condiments, the bulalo experience in Leslie’s is a real treat.

And the best thing is that bulalo soup/sabaw is unlimited! You can always ask for more in case you run out!

While bulalo is the star, Leslie’s menu offers a variety of other Filipino dishes such as crispy pata, pork sisig, pinakbet con lechon, kare-kare and fried tawilis. As with the bulalo, each of these dishes are also expertly prepared.
